Robert Lamarche
Graphic Artist and Costume Designer
Canadian-born Robert “Robear” Lamarche is a sculptor, graphic artist, mask-maker and costume designer who plies his trade in Ojai California. Perhaps better known for his neon-splashed Egyptian-inspired ceramic sculptures, Robear has also been caught spending an inordinate amount of time researching and studying renaissance paintings at the Louvre and elsewhere. Whether it be for a clay sculpture, an art gallery installation, an elaborate mask or an historically-accurate 16th-century costume commission, Robear uses Adobe software to plan and visualize the project to the last detail before getting his hands dirty.
