Scott Valentine

Scott Valentine is a Photoshop author and Adobe Community Professional. His teaching style is a mix of practical and conceptual, often including tips on how to think about the task at hand. He emphasizes mastery of tools through experimentation and a fundamental understanding of how they work – and when they don’t. Scott’s background in physics, music, and theater give him a unique approach to learning and using Photoshop.
For ADIM 15, Scott will draw on his years-long experience as a fencing instructor at Renaissance Faires to say inappropriate things with an Elizabethan accent while demonstrating how to recreate lighting and texture seen in Rembrandt, Titian, and Vermeer.
